Capturite (“the app”) does not collect any information about you.

Information we collect

The app does not send any information to the developer or to third parties, including personal information, usage data, or the images, videos and text you capture. The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services and does not connect to any server run by the developer.

Information handled on your Mac

• Images, videos and recognized text are stored only in the save folder you choose, the clipboard, notifications, and temporary preview files. Temporary files are deleted the next time the app starts.
• Settings (save folder, shortcuts, presets and so on) are stored only on your Mac.

Trial and purchase

Starting the trial and purchasing are handled by Apple through the App Store. The app only checks your purchase status using the App Store’s own system; the developer does not receive your name, Apple Account or payment information. Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to information handled by the App Store.

Permissions

• Screen Recording: to take screenshots and record the screen.
• Microphone: only when you turn on microphone audio for recordings, to include your voice.
• Notifications: to tell you when a capture or recording is complete.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in macOS System Settings.

Information you send us

If you contact us by email, your email address and message are used only to reply to you and are not shared with third parties.
